Since this is RAW African Black Soap, do NOT rub the soap directly on the face or skin. Lather soap in hand or washcloth or small cosmetic sponge and apply to face, body, or hair. This soap may contain small particles of plantains that could scratch or cause irritation.
Please start SLOW with african black soap, do not use this every day as it can be very drying for new users. Use it once a week for the first week in the evenings for two weeks, then twice a week ( Example: Monday's & Thursday's) for a month and then get to three days a week for about three monthes. The point is to go SLOW and make sure you moisturize after use.
Pay attention to how your skin feels and make sure that it doesn't feel irritated or become red as a result of use. Also PLEASE use a moisturizer after this to keep your skin hydrated.
